Miele CM6160 Milk Perfection Countertop Coffee Machine

The Miele CM6160 Milk Perfection is a countertop combination coffee machine with a built-in grinder, designed to prepare espresso, coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato, espresso macchiato and Cappuccino Italiano, along with pots of coffee or tea and a variety of tea drinks. OneTouch for Two lets two coffees be prepared at once at the touch of a button, while MilkPerfection delivers finely textured milk froth for milk-based drinks.

Portion size, grind size, coffee strength, amount of milk froth, brew temperature and water hardness can all be programmed, and five performance modes — Expert, Eco, Barista, Party and Latte — adapt the machine to different routines. DoubleShot uses twice as much ground coffee with the same amount of water for a stronger cup, and removable components with automatic rinse, descaling and degreasing programs keep the machine clean. It measures 25.1 cm W x 42.7 cm D x 35.9 cm H, weighs 9.9 kg and has a 1.8 L water tank.

• Expert mode: the quantity of coffee beans and water can be customized, even during preparation
• Eco Mode: Eco mode is an energy-saving mode. The system does not heat up until a drink is initiated.
• Barista Mode: Coffee-based drinks can be prepared without delay as the coffee machine remains heated to the brewing temperature.
• Party Mode: Allows for intensive use without interruption by cleaning messages or prompts.
• Latte Mode: Milk-based drinks can be prepared within a shorter space of time.
